As a company, we support creative initiatives – we extend our regards to people filled with incredible energy who use their own passion and commitment to draw young people into sports activities.
Jan Kliś, a member of the Sokół Szczyrk sports club, has been involved in sport essentially forever – in 1962, he began competing for the BBTS Bielsko sports association in combined skiing events and among the countless competitions he has taken part in, it is enough to mention that he has been a competitor in Worldloppet events. He has shared his enthusiasm with his whole family – and not only his family, having trained many competitors – and is currently using this enthusiasm to engage young children in sport. Jan and another coach, Dawid Waluś, are training the young generation, turning every session into a fascinating adventure.
Under his watchful eye, children from the ages of 8 to 15 learn the art of cross-country skiing. The children are now getting ready for this December’s edition of the Grupa Azoty Cup – we’re keeping our fingers crossed!
The club is highly active, providing all necessary equipment to the best of its ability, organising camps, trips to competitions and training sessions. Club alumni include the Olympic athlete Magda Kobielusz, and the medallists Maria Jakubiec and Lena Kliś, Jan’s daughter.
